ciao Lynn!
merci e a presto,
Ale!

Hello, this is Melanie from your climbing demo class at Deep Creek
Lake, Maryland (April 10, 2007). I wanted to say how much you inspired
me
to continue with climbing. I am currently working a secure job and
slowly drifting away from the sport because of lack of time, resources,
and
climbing partners around the area. However, I realized how much I truly
loved the sport and NEED to train and stay with it…no matter the
circumstances.
I also wanted to ask you how to get into the sport. I will be
finishing the rock craft courses and becoming top rope certified
through the
Adventures Sports Institute at Seneca Rocks, WV. I will be graduating
from Frostburg State University this May with a Business degree and
looking for something in sales (or anything, like instructing) within
the
industry, but I am clueless on where to begin.
I know you are very busy and any assistance would be greatly
appreciated! Thanks again for Tuesday. Both, your presentation and
instructional class were very motivating and inspirational to me, as
well as many
others. It was a pleasure to meet you and best of luck with your plans
for the future.

Hello Lynn,
I met you very briefly at a slide show you did at Rock and Snow in New Paltz. I am also friends with Ryan Stefiuk and was the one who suggested he ask you for an autograph after he found out he was taking a rock guide course with you in CO. I am actually writing for a less frivilous reason now. I tried to get in touch with Ryan inhopes he would have some contact information, but he is on an ice climbing trip and won’t be back for ten days.
I was climbing at East Peak in Ct with my climbing partner, last saturday 1/12/08, when I dislodged a rock which hit her in the head. She is still in the ICU and recovering. Yesterday when I mentioned that I would read your book to her, she seemd to respond (She is still unconscious). I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sending me a copy of your book with an inscription. I know it would mean a lot to her and her family. I hope this is not asking too much and would be glad to share more information with you in an email or on the phone.
Thnak you
Bill Fogel
